We are going to watch a movie on Thursday. After we watch the movie, write a summary desribing the main idea and some of the important details.

This story is that a woman who is unmarried and a man who is a teacher get married. Her family wants that she get married to Greek but he is not Greek. In addition, he is a vegetarian. Her family disagrees this marriage. However, he tries hard to be liked them and finally they get married.

Today we talked about the three kinds of love (agape, phileo, eros). Write a paragraph explaining how these three kinds of love are diferent. What kind of relationship has which kind of love?

First, agape is love which is for everyone or everything. For example, meels, children, one's wife or husband and so on. We must not want benefit about this love. Second, phileo is love which is for a family, firends, and so on. phileo gives fun oractivity to them. Third, eros is love which relates especially sex. If you love someone who is more than your friends, this love expresses eros.

Taiwan is one of the great places. There are three reasons why it is good. First, Taiwanese food is so delicious. Fruit and vegetables are fresh. Especially, a fruit juice taste very sweety. In addition to, we can enjoy eating peculiar food. For example, soup of catfish, an oyster omelet and so on. Second, many goods are cheap. I like Chinese tea but in Japan, it is soexpensive. However, in Taiwan, it is inexpensive so I could buy many kinds of Chinese tea. Souvenirs are also cheep so I could buy them for my friends. Third, a lot of Taiwanese can speak Japanese. Because I could communicate with my mother tongue, I asked some questions and told my will. I could enjoy shopping and going sightseeing. In conclusion, Taiwan is a great place because I can travel comfortably.

Global warming is serious threat to our enviroment. There are three reasons why I think it is bad. First, temperature is so high. A lot of people don't like the heat so they use an air conditioner. It wastes much money. We may suffer for electiric cost. Second, many creatures may die because of high temperature. Some creatures don't like the heat so they could extinct from the earth. A lot of creatures bring in benefit. For example, cows supply milk for us. If they extinct, we can't live a comfortable life. Third it may be warm in winter. If a place is covered with snow, it melts soon so we can't enjoy skiing, snowball fight, and so on. Besides, we can't look at mountains which are covered with snow. Many people are looking forward to them. We lose beautiful nature. In conclusion, global warming is serious threat to our enviroment because high temperature cause a lot of problem.

My Hero

My hero is Joey, the drummer of SlipKnot. There are three reasons why I look up to him. First, Joey can play the drum very well. His play is powerful and technical. He can play other bands songs. For example, in this year, he played songs of Korn which is one of the famous bands as a member. Second, he can play the guitar too. He belongs to not only SlipKnot but also Murderdolls. He plays the guitar as a member of Murderdolls. His play is so great. Finally, he is one of the great music producers. There is an interesting CD whose name is Road Runner United All Star Sessions. He joined this CD as one of the producers. The producers were selected member so these members are so great people about music. He made many songs which are so cool. He always plays heavy metal but in this CD he plays rock music. If he is not familiar with all kinds of music, he can’t make this song. In conclusion, I look up to Joey because of his great talent. He is able to play many songs very well.

Several days ago, I have experienced Independence Day for the first time. Before that day, a lot of shops had a sale and sold goods for Independence Day. For example, at Albertsons', cakes which expressed the stars and stripes were sold. On Independence Day, I could watch a lot of fireworks. In California, fireworks are prohibited by the law, so people can watch them on this day. I'm Japanese so I study little American history. I'm not familiar with that day. However, I want to study American history, because I would like to more enjoy that day. If many people concern American history by Independence Day, I think that this day is so meaningful.

About one week ago, I went to L.A. I'm interested in music so I went to Virgin Mega Store which is one of the famous CD shops. I chose two CDs and brought them to the register to buy. A cashier said count is 24.73 dollers. I paid 30 dollers and the chasier gave me change. I went out outside. I noticed I was a lucky person. I was given a lot of charge. The correct charge is about 6 dollers. However, the charge which I was given is 20 dollers. I'm so surprised. When I returned to Fullerton, I went to Albertsons' and I bought delicious food. I was a lucky person of that day.
